Amanda Ledsham Training is the pioneering training initiative developed by Miss Amanda Ledsham, that can facilitate and support all staff working at the different levels of many diverse areas in Health & Social Care.
Amanda firmly believes in the training and qualifications required by the Care Standards Act 2000 and the National Minimum Standards for Wales (NMSW Section 5), that put Health & Social Care on the EMPLOYMENT MAP, as an equally satisfying career to Health Care.

Why Study With
AL Training?
The Student will have a training and development plan specifically tailored to their personal and professional circumstances, taking into consideration their working hours/shifts; their family and child care issues; their career aspirations and commitments to these, demonstrating their career pathway to success.
Planning of individual support and guidance with the use of tailored resources, will lead to the Students continued interest, achievement and professional development, thereby demonstrating their future promotional prospects and confirming the Employers need for staff retention.

Putting The Student First
Amanda Ledsham Training will put the Student at the centre of the learning and training process creating a sense of belonging and pride in their specialist work, as opposed to a sense of apathy and indifference which has been all too common in some areas of the Care Industry today.
Demonstrate firstly to the Employee, that the Care Industry does have clear and varied Career Pathways for them to choose and achieve in, with nationally recognised, relevant qualifications and secondly to the Employer, that with “ALTs” support and involvement, the mandatory training of all their staff is no longer the ONEROUS task it has become.

How Do We Fill Employer Needs For Staff Training?
All working disciplines catered for specific to both day and night duty staff alike.
Cost effectiveness and relevancy of training and qualifications to the work environment and the compliances with NMSW (Section 5)
MINIMAL or NO interruption to client-staff routines or, team-shift numbers on duty.
A legitimate, reputable and accountable training provider registered with the relevant Awarding Bodies.
Continuous involvement of the Manager and/or Employer by Amanda Ledsham Training in their training provision.
How do we meet our students needs?
Relevant training provision that addresses their personal, aspirational and professional needs.
Personal attention and access to their Assessor when they require.
A Career Pathway, clearly demonstrated by their 2 monthly supervisions; action planning and achievement of relevant Trainings, as well as advice and guidance on their promotional prospects and selection.
Recognition of their achievements and Continual Professional Development (CPD) by their Employer.
