Why choose Amanda Ledsham Training?
The training initiative is delivered on a one-one basis to the Student, using the latest technology in communications and the”Holistic”approach to the C&G Assessment process.
No other training establishment in North Wales has this initiative as standard, nor the flexibility of delivery given by this initiative, to both the Student and their Employer.
The initiative is cost effective, using the latest technology software to everyone’s advantage and by reducing paperwork and travelling time, increase the interactive time spent between Student and Assessor.
I work during the day - Can I contact my accessor outside of usual office hours?
The Student on night duty can access their Assessor by Web-Cam outside usual office hours, making coming to work early; leaving late or working a day shift just to meet with their Assessor, a thing of the past.
All Students can access “ALT” and/or their Assessor at any time; during off-duty; a quiet spell at work or evening time, either by E-Mail or Web-Cam to leave messages, research their relevant information, or join in on one of the Chat-Room sessions.
The Initiative involves Team Leaders/Managers at every step of a Students NVQ, but is unobtrusive and non-invasive to their primary work roles.
The initiative is less intrusive and disruptive to the Team; the Workplace or the Client Routines.
What type of portfolio do students create?
It is for the Students to choose whether their portfolio of evidence is compiled on Disc or in the conventional manner of a hard-copy Portfolio.
The Student also has the option of using “ALTs” intra-net services or the conventional routine of monthly Assessor visits to the work place etc, to complete their NVQs.
The Initiative is Echo-Friendly and low in Carbon Footprints, by minimal use of petrol, paper and transport.

Learning Resources available?
At ALT we do everything we can to support our students. The following is available to any student to assist their studies.
Lease of Lap-top with Web-Cam/Microphone (if required)
A personalised E-Mail Service between Student and their Assessor.
24hr Web-Cam connection to“ALT” for day and night staff alike.
24hr connection to“ALTs” training Database and Information Centre for day and night staff alike.
Allocation of specified on-line interaction periods between the Student and their Assessor for the planning, actioning and reviewing of set work pieces.

Our Learning Chat room
Each student will have personal access to “ALTs” CHAT-ROOM, where they can interact with other Learners for discussions, debates, information, exchange, networking, assistance with research and much more.
The CHAT-ROOM service is secured and will always be moderated by an “ALTs” staff member for support, advice and guidance at all times.
